Is there such a thing as too many London-themed prints for your home? Or really, any city-themed print to represent where you live? Considering we have three (!) in our tiny one-bed flat, I’m going to go with: nahhhhhh.
My love for London-themed prints began with this Columbia Road print we picked up a couple of years ago from an art store on Columbia Road. How very meta of us. But really, when Stag and I stepped into Nelly Duff that day years ago, we were enchanted by its design, both history and illustration representing so much more than a road: it was the first piece of art we bought together, in our first year of living together. Our first home together. And we smile every time we see it.

Maybe this is what makes city (or location) themed prints so special. Their power lies in memory, evoking time-place-story in ways beyond normal prints and art. No matter where we go, Stag and I will have our London-themed prints to cherish where we met, where we married and where we lived.
Sentimentalism aside, city prints give a cool, modern look to any room. And trust me when I say: there are tons to choose from. When I set out to write this post, I genuinely was thinking of the two we have in our flat. I’ve now discovered about 20 different artists and websites I now want to buy art from. Thanks, internet.
