I thought London’s summer had died its yearly death. But by some miracle, we’ve had another round of sunshine, and in other miracles, I finally bought a summer dress to celebrate *pops the champagne.*
Stag and I celebrated our 7 month wedding anniversary during one of these sunshine-filled days, and we decided to make the most of it with a meandering stroll through East London.
Needless to say, I was feeling very in love during this photo shoot. There’s something about a peasant top that feels so effortlessly chic and romantic, and combined with relaxed denim and flowers from a local market, it’s like a physical manifestation of feeling in love.
What I’m Wearing
Top: Zara (others I like here, here and here) | Jeans: Forever 21 (very old, similar here) | Sunglasses: Calvin Klein from TK Maxx | Sandals: Shuh (bought last year, but I love these ones here) | Bag: Tory Burch (bought in the sale)
There have been so many peasant tops floating around this season, and although my Zara one is nearly sold out, there are some great ones at ASOS (here, here and here), and I love this one at Great Plains.
There have been so many peasant tops floating around this season, I’ve had to stop myself from spending my entire paycheck essentially buying the same top repeatedly. I absolutely love my Zara one though, it’s the perfect print and shade of blue. I always keep my hair wavy, for lack of knowledge of what else to do with it, but it definitely helped bring this look to life. Topped off with a pair of classic aviator sunglasses, and I was feeling all the summer-lovin’ feels.

What are your favourite peasant tops? I always need a few more to add to my closet! Would love to get your opinion in the comments.
